Its a funny thing to say that a ferrari had just produced a 5-meter long, monsterous 4 door saloon, but reality prooves that more and more sporty brands are having their good times designing bulky and big saloons, like the porsche panamera, besides its monsterous power, which most of the other porsches have, the panamera is utterly unsightful and I do not find a single thing on panamera to make me to take my views off a mercedes-s class. First we will talk about the looks, so ok the porsches have a similar design amongst themselves to make them more "porsche". Well this design in my opinion is classic and elegant, but since the panamera is nearly 5-meters long, 2 meters wide and has a body-weight of 2 tons, the design looks more like an estate than saloon, it also looks bulky. And most important of all, I doubt if any millionaires will like to sit in a car without a BUTT (oops boot) i mean, the panamera looks so estate-like that the car doesn't look like an expensive, exquisite saloon, rather than a big family car. Performance wise, I would agree that porsche makes excellent engines, but I also doubt if the rich men would be sitting in a car, chatting with his friend, with a noisy engine infront. If I am a millioinaire, I would rather buy an mercedes benz s class with a boxster, the latter is only slight more expensive but with a lot of fun, whereas the panamera do seems like a fat man trying to be agile. Dear all, this topic that I am going to write about is to express my opinion for the topic of "which type of power-plants will you expect from the future?"

Let us talk about hybrid first. The first opinion of hybrid for most of the people is that hybrid are "clean","nerdy" and "slow". While that is not totally true. Hybrid is often powered by two engine, a electric engine and a petrol or diesel engine. Thus, hybrid may not be clean. One example is the lexus rx460, while being hybrid, a 1.4 bluemotion polo will still outdoes the lexus when it comes to emission. However, while there is cars like the prius, in which is totally uncool in my opinion, there is cars like the rx460 which is pretty cool, too. In conclusion, the hybrid is a more realistic view for the furture, but not a totally wonderful one.

Next on is electric motor, the difference between electricity and hybrid is like electricity is totally clean---------there is 0 emissons other than some water. Also, electric cars doesn't mean slow and small, Tesla, a company that made sport car, made wonderful electric sport car which is no worse than a porsche. Same as the porsche's money, though.

Last but not least, hydrogen. Hydrogen is a type of powerplant in which have 0 emissions, that is better than a hybrid and no worse than a electric car, however, hydrogen cars are not as stable as the other 2 type of cars since the technology is still not enough to produce a large amount of hydrogen cars, and it also cost tons, one example is the Honda fcx--------you would not want to know its price, do you?

The point of view for this poem is at the authour's point of view. This poem, the authour addressed the kids who are suffering as "children" while addressing the reader and himself as "we". This shows that the writer tries to creat a scene whereby the readers looked at the suffering children while the authour is depicting the scence.

From what we had read in task1, the settings are most likely to be in vietnam, though the writer did not mentioned about it in the poem. The poems tries to show the hopelessness of the children in vietnam during the vietnamese war, in which they were forced to become young soldiers to fight in the war.It also shows conflicting images of the author's mindset of what should actually be the life of a child in contrast with how the children were suffering in war.

The central idea raised is hopelessness and conflict. There is a lot of conflict in the poem, the writer is trying to differenciate between what life for a child really should be and the life of the young vietnamese soldier. In the poem, the children are barred from learning and are forced to fight, in order to become future soldiers, however, the rights of learning were being taken away as the same point of time, it can clearly shows how hopeless the children were.

Personally, I felt that the poem is trying to tell us to show the hopelessness of the children by trying to show the differences between a "normal" life and the life of the children, who are barred from learning. The poem children in the darkness depicts scenes whereby children who were captured during the war were forced to become soldiers instead of students who were learning at school, so that they could become soldiers in the future.Theses children were held captive in places that are very dark and these children could not escape at all. The poems also wrote about their desparation of learning, and the hopelessness that they were not able to learn.Their lives were also destroyed.

Although this poem was written in 2009, it is about the vietnam war, since the authour is a soldier battling in vietnam during that period of time.The author wrote this poem in vietnam, saigon, when he was having his trip in vietnam. Many people will say that the impression of hybrids cars to them is that they are quite, in which at low speed only the electric motor is running, fuel efficient, since electric motor does not need disiel or petrol, and thus consuming no oil at all, and last of not least, well, slow. That is true is some ways, though. Hybrid cars are generally not used for racing up and down along the streets, one example is the honda insight. It takes 12 seconds to speed up to 100km per hour, in which is not very impressive considering a petrol golf, a car with basically the same size and money, can done so in less than 10 seconds. However, this myth is not completely true too. Tesla, a car company and specialized in making electric cars, have made many sports cars-they are fast and furious! Thus, I think that the perspectives of people thinking about hybrid or electric cars should change.

Rapist Tom Robinson was found guilty of raping white woman despite huge efforts from his lawyer.
Tom Robinson, a colored man whose left hand is handicapped, is charged with raping 18 years old Mayella Ewell. Miss Ewell had told us that it is true that Tom Robinson, whom she had told to help her with the house, had raped her. However, Robinson’s lawyer, Mr Finch, have put on a strong argument on whether this is true. According to Mr Finch, the wounds from Miss Ewell’s head did not match Robinson’s body criteria, this is because Tom Robinson is handicapped on his left hand, and thus it is impossible to inflict damage Miss Ewell’s left cheek.
However, the jury did not take this into their consideration, just 2 hours later, the results are out and Tom robinson was being sentenced to life in prison.
After the judgement, questions have aroused on whether it is fair for Robinson to be sent into prison after such a clear evidence pointed out by Mr Finch. This is said that prejudice has been added into the decision from the jury and the fact that Tom Robinson is a colored man has cost him life in prison.
The judgement has also caused anger from black citizens and some of the whites, too. They have thought that the judgement is unfair and thus riots are also possible in the country.
We will focus on this once again in a few days time.

I would like to be friend with Jem. This is because that Jem have matured faster than that of Scout. In the novel, Jem have matured after he realised that Boo Radley is not a bad person after all. Jem is matured throughout the story after that. He is also filled with a sense of justice and he cried after Tom Robinson is sentenced to life in prison. City cars have been popular choices among the younger generations nowaday.With busier traffics,the city cars are also easy to park, thus making parking of cars more convenient. Therefore, what I am writing now is to recommend a small city car to those who are interested in buying it. It is my favourite city car, too.
The car’s name is called the IQ. It is designed and produced by Toyota, in which is one of the best car companies in the world. Japanese is also good at designing city cars, since their countries but strict restriction to the car’s size.
However, being a small car does not mean that IQ can only seat 2. At only 2.9 meters long, the IQ can actually seat 3 adult and 1 child!(or if a adult that is small enough to fit in the last seat) This is different from its rival, the Smart fortwo, in which it is a coupe and can only sit 2. Thus, the IQ is more convenient than most of its rivals.
Also, the IQ rides well on the road too! The IQ shared the same platform as the Toyota aygo, in which is one of the funniest cars to drive nowadays! The IQ rides smoothly on the road; its engine is responsive, if not powerful. It too, has a silky smooth automatic gearbox.

This is one of the hardest track ever built for a car. At, 22.8km, it is already one of the longest track too, not saying its difficult turning and tough striaght lines. This is the ultimate track for all the cars------especially for the mass production one.

The Nürburgring race track is located around the village of Nürburg and it was built in 1984. It features a modern Grand Prix race track built in 1984, and a much longer old North loop track which was built in the 1920s around the village and medieval castle of Nürburg in the eifel mountains. It is located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) south of Cologne, and 120 kilometres (75 mi) northwest of Frankfurt. The old track was nicknamed The Green Hell by Jackie Stwuart and is widely considered the toughest, most dangerous and most demanding purpose-built race track in the world.

In my opinion, the race track is one of the best track around the world, it is difficult to tackle, it is long, and it is a beautiful piece of work done by the Germans. Ok, so we now have the Gallardo again. The data has improved quite a lot while maintaining its stunning good looks. With 570 horse-power, 3.4 acceleration to 60mph and a top speed of 323km/h, the Gallardo ,SEEMS, yes, seems to be one of the best cars on the market.

However, as you all know, I am not a big fan of Gallardo, and I am going to tell you why I hate this car.

Firstly, the history of Gallardo. Lamborghini does not have a history of getting the same name for every model it produces, let’s say, if A is released in 1980, then by the time it is being replaced by a new model the new model should be called B. This is the tradition of Lamborghini. However, Gallardo is being released in 2002, when Ferrari, which also has no history of getting the same name for its model, released the f360. And by 2010, while Gallardo is still named, while, Gallardo, the f360 have already changed from f360, to f430, and now, f458 Italia. So in other words, Lamborghini has been slacking all day long. While Ferrari have been busy replacing its cars, Lamborghini have been just modifying the same model over and over again! D:

Secondly, from what I know, Lamborghini’s datas are not as good as it seems, while, ok, it has a great engine, but it does have its weak points, and not just by a little bit.

Its suspensions are hard, the double wishbone have severely caused the all wheel drive Lamborghini to struggle during the corners, thus, in reality, even the GTR r35 could outdo the Gallardo on the track, even with 400kg more of weight and 100hp less of power!

Therefore, I could conclude that Lamborghini produces good cars, but not a car with a soul.

So this is my MIT, the multiple intelligence test. I am quite shocked that i scored FULL MARKS for my intrapersonal test =D. I was actually thinking i will score way below the average students when I do this quiz, however, what shocked me the most is how low is my nature smart is. Having dog phobia isn't what I want when I was born, and it is quite unfair in my opinion to give me such a low mark just because I say " I hate to have dogs in my home" and " I cannot indentify the name of the trees and plants I saw on the street." (Hello? How on earth am i suppose to know that??-.-). From what I see, my score is quite average and there is no particular area, nature aside, that I am especially weak at. Toyota is having a bad time these few days, its brakes are not working, resulting in fatal crashes with huge numbers of people killed, its air-bags failed to pop at the critical moments, and the cars tend to move side-ways by themselves when the owners want them to move straight.
While Toyota is busy repairing its cars for free, the American government has been talking about Toyota all the times, saying that "Toyota’s cars are not safe,""Toyota’s cars should not be driven on the road anymore" and so on, and this bring me to an question, why did the American government talks so much in this moment when Toyota should be helped but not sabotaged by the American government? If I am not wrong, if Chevy or Dodge or some other American car companies get into trouble, the American government will surely give a generous helping hand, either by funding or some other way, so why not Toyota?
The answer should be quite simple, the Toyota is a Japanese car company, and it has been a great threat to the sales of American car companies like ford or dodge. The Toyota’s corolla and Camry have also been popular cars among the Americans, on the other hand, the Toyota’s sales number for sedans have been so overwhelming that the Americans are not buying cars that is make in USA.
Since the Americans are not buying their own cars, (let’s say focus, for example), then the American government is then not happy with Toyota snatching their customers, and I am pretty sure that they have been plotting a nasty plan on Toyota.
And when a call back happens, the American government will be like saying wickedly to themselves: Huh! Toyota, now you are dead, we will promise to make you bankrupt!

Since i am young, I am very interested in cars. My dad bought our family a car when I was two, it was a jetta and it’s not too bad, however, what I am really interested in is about sport cars, cars like Ferrari f458 and Lamborghini Gallardo spider are the ones that really attract my attention, and the sound of it roaring into the street really grips my heart =D.
However, there is something that is really bad about Lamborghini and some of the Ferraris, while its straight line performances is really great ( or imbalance, by all means), it does poorly on tracks, due to its dual double-wishbone suspension on both the front and the end. This leaves me a question on what a car is made for, are sports cars made for fun on the track or is it made for drag race??
Quite obviously, the answer is the previous one, and thus I “dump” the Lamborghini simply because when it changed over years, it became more of a commercial used car than a pure-blooded Italian sport car, its ability in corners is really disappointing and its cars are really "long-historied", here is a evidence, in a production period of Gallardo, the Ferrari have come up with f360,f430 and f458. Lamborghini is not like a company like the porche, who will get the 911 for a long time simply because they does so since past, so why did the Lamborghini does it when looking at the past, it had never ever done something like that before?
Anyway, while I was really disappointed with the Lamborghini, the GTR R35 came to my view on one sunny morning in 2007, 3.4sec to 64mph, 202mph top speed, and 7:26 in nurgsburg circuit(or is it spelled that way? I don’t think so but I have no idea how should I spell it=D). This, the R35, is just my like my dream car!
I like its exterior, by all means, since its very enchantingly handsome in my opinion, its LED lights on its boot are the best part, it just attracts me for some reason. And for performance-wise, it has a 0.25 drag-effiency which according to my contextual knowledge, is only 0.01 behind the E-coupe, which is by far is the car with the lowest drag effiency.
As for the interiors, well, at least it’s functional, with 12 bose stereo installed on the car, and a GPS, and automatic air-conditioning, in which you will never ever get in a f-430, which in my opinion ,barely have a interior.
However, the thing i like the most about r35 is how he run on the track, its sound is really strong and unlike Lamborghini, which gets a very shrill sound when the engine spins up, like a girl crying for her mum, The GTR sounds quite low, but in a good way. Its grip is also one of the strongest in the category, and from my knowledge, grip is a very important factor for getting good results on the track, cars like the 911 turbo does not do well in tracks not because it have bad controls, the RR engined 911 have a very good control about the car, but how the wheel grips, the wheels of the 911 grudges too much, and from my view it just does not work.
